I never would have predicted how thoroughly the mural of a rainforest Sheva painted on my son’s bedroom wall would become integrated into my family’s life.  As an infant, Daniel Julian learned to point from our nightly ritual of saying goodnight to each animal.  His first words included those animal’s names. Now he requests bedtime stories inspired by the animals, and together we imagine their adventures.  It’s a joy to see how art is already such an important part of his world, and to see his development reflected in the changing ways he interacts with his mural. --Dave Cullen
